Each player is tested for DVD/VHS playback, audio, video, and button function. Testing is limited to basic functions such as powering on, and ensuring no warning lights appear during initial use. This may include scuffs, scratches, marks, discoloration, dust, writing from markers, engravings, or sticker residue.
