Used in prebuilt for 6 months. Upgraded to a 9800X3D. 7900X was immediately placed into the plastic protective case that the 9800X3D came in (after cleaning) upon removal from the PC. Will be shipped in the 9800X3D box for protection as well. No issues with this cpu, in fact I’m only noticing marginal gains from the 9800X3D. It is quite a beast.
